New York City becomes the epicenter of the alien incursion and the “locals” rise up to defend their turf…including Otto Octavius in the new Mighty Avengers series and his new team-up book:
“My Superior Spider-Man Team-Up two-parter involves the debut of a new superhuman player in upper Manhattan, who has deep ties to the Marvel Universe,” writer Rob Rodi tells Marvel.com. “This new superhuman isn’t starting out very well, so Spidey swings up to intervene, and to tutor the newcomer in how to be a hero, surprising himself in the process.”
Otto has been able to pull off his ruse so far…will his Mighty Avengers teammates discover the truth? I’m looking forward to the moment when Otto’s ego slips and Luke Cage puts him in his place!
Marvel has declared July Superior Spider-Man month with new arcs, big fights and new books starring the villain turned wannabe hero. Infinity begins in August.
