SUPERHERO MOVIE LINEUP with MARVEL Phase Three Changes

Marvel makes room for an Ant-Man sequel while pushing other Phase Three movies back.

The Carol Corps will have to wait a little longer for Carol Danvers to soar in a Captain Marvel movie and the Wasp becomes the first Marvel heroine to get in the title of a film.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is the official follow-up set for July 6, 2018 and the studio announced new dates for other heroes.

Here’s the revised superhero movie timeline.

Sony reportedly may still develop Spider-Man spinoffs starring the Sinister Six, Venom and a female hero from the Spider-Verse.

DC/Warner Brothers have a Man of Steel 2 planned and a new Batman solo film starring Ben Affleck after the Justice League movies and a potential Wonder Woman sequel.

Fox will keep producing more X-Men films to keep the franchise and that equal mean a third X-Men trilogy or sequels to Deadpool, Gambit plus there are scripts ready for a New Mutants or X-Force spinoff.

And the billion dollar success of the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, there’s a galaxy of sequel ideas for a third volume and director James Gunn expressed his hope to direct a Thunderbolts film.

Plus, Valiant Entertainment and Sony are working on films based on Harbinger and Bloodshot comics.
