Two DC Comics heroes in an action and song filled crossover?
The CW announced a two-part crossover of The Flash and Supergirl at the Television Critics Association’s Summer Press Tour.
Ever since Barry Allen made his debut on Arrow, crossovers have been a season event on the network. This fall will feature The CW’s first ever four-episode crossover, spanning Arrow and The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl who soared to the network for her sophomore season.
Executive Producers announced that next season will also feature a two-part musical crossover taking place later in the season between Supergirl and The Flash.
The casts of The CW’s DC TV shows are filled with experienced singers.
Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin were regulars on Fox’s Glee. Jesse L. Martin, John Barrowman, Victor Garber, and Jeremy Jordan are all musical theatre veterans.
What could make these crusaders burst into song? Will it be a villain, weird phenomenon?
