Marvel announced Stuart Immonen will join writer Jason Aaron on the new Star Wars series starting with issue eight this July.
Today’s announcement follows John Cassaday saying he would leave after issue six.
The publisher also revealed an unfinished look at the Immonen’s pencils for the Star Wars #8 cover.
Aaron confirmed via Twitter he is staying on the new book “for the long haul.”
Immonen’s journey to a galaxy far far away follows his run on All-New Captain America and All-New X-Men.
The new Star Wars books are set after the events of A New Hope and the destruction of the Death Star.
