Marvel announces a new Star Wars comic book that ties into the Star Wars: Rebels animated series at New York Comic Con.
Star Wars – Kanan: The Last Padawan explores the origin of Kanan Jarrus. Star Wars: Rebels Executive Producer Greg Weisman will launch the series starring the renegade. The new book is set between the Clone Wars and the time of the animated series.
“We’ll see Kanan train to be a Jedi. And then we’ll see him train specifically not to be a Jedi anymore. His relationship with Master Billaba is warm and wry,” Weisman told Marvel.com.
Weisman will be joined by artist Pepe Larraz (Wolverine and the X-Men.)
