Sci-Fi Icon Joins TRUE BLOOD

An actor who deserves a lifetime achievement award for his genre roles is the always amazing Rutger Hauer! Shock Til You Drop has a first look at the veteran actor on the set of True Blood. Hauer joins the HBO series as a character named Macklyn – who will have ties to Sookie and Jason Stackhouse.

Hauer has a blood soaked resume in the vampire films including Buffy, The Vampire Slayer, ‘Salem’s Lot and two versions of Dracula. Hauer’s roles include Batman Begins, Sin City and my favorite Hauer film Blade Runner and Ladyhawke – one of the rare times Hauer player the hero – and The Hitcher – one of the most chilling movie villains ever!
