Avengers: The Infinity War Parts I & II is the grand finale of the Marvel Universe movies with heroes united against Thanos. This is the big one that’s been building on the mythology of the Infinity stones and the Gauntlet that the cosmic villain has been searching for in the films.
Who will fight the forces of Thanos? The directors say to expect a massive “Assembling” of heroes against the Mad God of Titan.
At Wizard World New Orleans fans didn’t just line up to see Chris Evans and other cast members but directors Joe and Anthony Russo. You know fans loved The Winter Soldier is they lined up for directors at a con.
The brothers announced a massive plan:
“We have so many characters we’re dealing with. We’re breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it,” the Russos announced according to The AV Club.
67 characters certainly makes fans wonder. This cosmic showdown could assemble every Avenger, Guardian of the Galaxy, upcoming heroes like Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, the Inhumans and characters from Marvel’s Netflix shows and who knows – Marvel and Sony reached an agreement over sharing Spider-Man. Could Marvel be working out a share agreement with Fox to include X-Men or Fantastic Four heroes.
The two-part mega sequel will hit May 4, 2018 and May 3. 2019.
