The brothers who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier will helm the cosmic climax of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Three.
Marvel officially announced Joe and Anthony Russo will direct Avengers: Infinity War, Part One and Two.
The brothers are now working on Captain America: Civil War which pits Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) against Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and introduce Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther. Civil War arrives in May 2016.
Avengers: Infinity War, Part One and Two are scheduled for May of 2018 and 2019. This two-part adventure is the showdown with Thanos (Josh Brolin in Guardians of the Galaxy).
Avengers: Age of Ultron from director Joss Whedon opens May 1st.
