Jonathan Hickman’s New Avengers continues to be one of my favorite Marvel books. It stars the Illuminati – a secret cabal fighting a threat to Earth so great – they keep it secret from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Namor and Black Panther’s uneasy alliance has been tested time and again as their nations have gone to war.
But can the two titans resolve their differences and keep the peace?
Rags Morales will join Hickman with New Avengers #16 as the secret society of heroes (Black Panther, Namor, Tony Stark, Dr. Strange, Beast, Reed Richards) attempt to stop incursion from other universes. As you’ll see in this preview art courtesy Marvel it looks like Avengers from other times in invading our present – which ties into the time-twisting plots in Avengers.
New Avengers #16 arrives March 26th.
