Director Bryan Singer revealed how he’s filming the fastest mutant on the planet in a new behind the scenes look. The director is using an innovative method to shoot Evan Peters as Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) displays his mutant super speed.

Singer is capturing in extreme slow motion. The end results of 3600 frames per second will look slower than standard film and require more lighting to expose each frame.
The director confirmed Scarlet Witch (Quicksilver’s sister) will not appear in the film. The children of Magneto are scheduled to appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The mutant children of Magneto grew up, reformed and became fan-favorite members of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
