The Third Doctor regenerates in a brand new comic book series as Titan Comics evolves their Whovian line going back even to the Jon Pertwee era.

BBC Worldwide North America and Titan Comics announced the return of the Third Doctor in a new comic book. This brand-new five-part comic series, written by fan-favorite Doctor Who scribe Paul Cornell, stars the Third Doctor, as played by Jon Pertwee, with companions Jo Grant (Katy Manning) and the Brigadier (Nicholas Courtney) in classic Doctor Who adventures. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. more than delivered on the promise of killing off a major character as a second lead died as Season Three/Fallen Agent arc came to an action and emotion packed close.

FUTURE OF VALIANT Reveals New Books at VALIANT SUMMIT

Valiant Universe announced seven new comic book series as part of THE FUTURE OF VALIANT during the #ValiantSummit 2016 live event. The new wave of ongoing series, prestige format projects and standalone events is from a roster of some of comics’ top and rising talents. It all begins in July with the first ongoing series for the breakout hero of the year, FAITH, “THE FUTURE OF VALIANT” extends through 2016 with a total of seven series – each introducing an innovative array of new concepts and characters including the return of the Harbinger Renegades and the next evolution of Divinity.

After Suicide Squad hits the big screen, the team will take over book comic shops.

Just in time for the anticipated summer film, August will see the return of the worst heroes ever in quartet of SUICIDE SQUAD tales, including a all-new SUICIDE SQUAD main title with art by DC Co-Publisher Jim Lee, the return of legendary writer/creator John Ostrander to Task Force X on a new one-shot and a new cast of characters debuting in the SUICIDE SQUAD: MOST WANTED anthology book.
