X-MEN TELEVISION PILOT From FOX & MARVEL

The X-Men franchise is evolving into a new television series on Fox.

The network has made a put pilot commitment on a new X-Men series from writer Matt Nix (Burn Notice) according to Variety. Nix will be executive producer in the partnership between Fox and Marvel Television including X-Men film franchise veterans Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg and Marvel Television’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.

Fox and Marvel reached an agreement to produce Legion and Hellfire series to air on FX. In the comics Legion is the son of Professor X. The Hellfire Club are old enemies of the X-Men. The Hellfire project is not moving forward according to Variety. Legion will arrive in early 2017 on FX.

Marvel announced Cyke’s fate will be revealed in Death of X, a four part limited series by Jeff Lemire and Charles Soule this fall.

As we anxiously await answers about the possible final days of Scott Summers after Secret Wars, we are looking back at the life, times and crimes of the man called Cyclops.

The man Professor Xavier chose to lead the mutants has never had it easy. He’s been put in incredible scenarios against impossible odds and faced tragedy after tragedy. His fellow mutants have constantly been under attack and he’s been forced to make tough calls without a single Avenger coming to his aid. That’s what I love about him.
