HE-MAN Gets a New Look!

He-Man is getting a new look! Less skin is in!

Fan-favorite writer Keith Giffen and artists Pop Mahn just launched a brand new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe ongoing series! Now DC Comics is sharing the new design for He-Man coming in July’s issue four.

“In the epic war against the forces of Hordak ripping through the pages of the current series, He-Man must don the sacred armor of his ancestors.”

John Byrne Unleashes DOOMSDAY

“I’ve been thinking for some time that I would like to revisit a post-apocalypse kind of scenario, such as was seen in my very first ‘dramatic’ work in comics, but this time without the more obvious fantasy elements of that original series (mermaids, alien robots, frozen mammoths, etc.),” said Byrne. “When bits and pieces of this new series first started to percolate around in my head, I knew almost at once the shape that ‘revisit’ would take; something in the ‘All-New, All-Different’ vein. And the first time I doodled some images of my ‘crew,’ I knew I was there!”

MAN OF STEEL Soars In New Poster!

If you’ve seen the Man of Steel trailer you can see the earth quake as Superman takes off. It’s no gentle liftoff but a blast. Superman’s flying affects the atmosphere causing a sonic boom.

Henry Cavill is soaring as Superman over Metropolis in this new poster from Warner Brothers on Yahoo. Kal-El looks like a determined missile. Flying for this hero is work according to director Zach Snyder.
