DC Comics is introducing a new femme fatale! Her target: Katana!

“Katana’s latest adventures have sent her all the way to Japan in an attempt to repair her treasured sword. But her journey will hardly be an easy one, especially with The Outsiders on her trail. And when a new adversary named Swagger gets word that Katana has returned to her homeland, this equally treacherous and masochistic leader of the sword clan will make it her personal mission to rid Katana of her Soultaker. Using a special coil sword of her own that’s thinner and more flexible than Katana’s, will Swagger have the last laugh?”

Is Swagger part of Villains Month? Could this be a hint at a new Outsiders in The New 52?

Disney is still in negotiations with Robert Downey Jr. about reprising his role as Tony Stark in Avengers 2 (and beyond ?) but for director Joss Whedon it appears to be a done deal as he explains to The Daily Beast.

“He is Iron Man. He is Iron Man in the way that Sean Connery was James Bond. I have no intention of making Avengers 2 without him, nor do I think I’ll be called upon to do that. I don’t think it’s in my interest, Marvel’s interest, or his interest, and I think everything will be fine. But I know that this is Hollywood and you roll with things. You have to be ready for the unexpected. But I loved working with Robert, and everybody knows Continue reading Joss Whedon on Robert Downey Jr and AVENGERS 2

Continuum Season Two begins on the SyFy Channel this Friday, June 7th. Here’s a sneak peek at the exciting new season from two of the stars:

Rachel Nichols (Star Trek, Alias, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) plays Kiera Cameron, a police officer for a corporate run law enforcement organization in 2077. Kiera has been torn from her family and thrust into our time along with a fanatic group of terrorists from her future.

Erik Knudsen plays Alec Sadler the young computer guru who helps her in the present day but….

SPOILERS from Season One!

In the shocking season one finale we learned Alec grows up to the corporate overlord who is ultimately responsible for Kiera being trapped in the past and losing her family.

Earlier this year at Fan Expo Vancouver – Nichols and Knudsen told me how the future revelation affects their characters bond and sets the drama for the new season.

The Master of Magnetism rises again! Director Bryan Singer revealed a first look at Michael Fassbender as Magneto on the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past via Twitter.

The sequel is set in 1973 and based on the classic comic book epic by Chris Claremont in which X-Men from the future try to change the past. The casts of X-Men: First Class and the original X-Men trilogy will appear in this film so Sir Ian McKellen is the film as Magneto.

It sure looks like Fassbender is on the set of what could be Professor Xavier’s School.

Evan Peters (American Horror Story) has Continue reading First Look! Michael Fassbender Returns as Magneto!
