Is Swagger part of Villains Month? Could this be a hint at a new Outsiders in The New 52?
Disney is still in negotiations with Robert Downey Jr. about reprising his role as Tony Stark in Avengers 2 (and beyond ?) but for director Joss Whedon it appears to be a done deal as he explains to The Daily Beast.
“He is Iron Man. He is Iron Man in the way that Sean Connery was James Bond. I have no intention of making Avengers 2 without him, nor do I think I’ll be called upon to do that. Continuum Season Two begins on the SyFy Channel this Friday, June 7th. Here’s a sneak peek at the exciting new season from two of the stars:
Rachel Nichols (Star Trek, Alias, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) plays Kiera Cameron, a police officer for a corporate run law enforcement organization in 2077. Kiera has been torn from her family and thrust into our time along with a fanatic group of terrorists from her future.
Erik Knudsen plays Alec Sadler the young computer guru who helps her in the present day but….

In the shocking season one finale we learned Alec grows up to the corporate overlord who is ultimately responsible for Kiera being trapped in the past and losing her family.

Seattle is my kind of town – geeky! And we’re not just talking comic books! The 2013 Seattle Science Festival kicks off this week celebrating the science and technology and its bringing in some big celebrity brains!
This 11-day celebration features luminaries from the science world in opening and closing night events, a free Science EXPO Day featuring hands-on activities and special stage programs on Saturday, June 8 at Seattle Center, plus a variety of Signature Programs at venues around the region throughout the Festival.
The big event is Beyond Infinity? The Search for Understanding at the Limits of Space & Time! (Paging Doctor Who!) How can we comprehend the size or age of the universe? What are the origins of the universe, and what are its implications for time travel?
This main event will include presentations by three of the nation’s greatest physicists, Brian Greene, Sean Carroll and Adam Frank, and the West Coast premiere of Icarus at the Edge of Time with live narration by Kal Penn. This mind-expanding event will be emceed by journalist Jennifer Ouellette, who writes the popular Cocktail Party Physics blog for Scientific American.

The Master of Magnetism rises again! Director Bryan Singer revealed a first look at Michael Fassbender as Magneto on the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past via Twitter.
The sequel is set in 1973 and based on the classic comic book epic by Chris Claremont in which X-Men from the future try to change the past. The casts of X-Men: First Class and the original X-Men trilogy will appear in this film so Sir Ian McKellen is the film as Magneto.
It sure looks like Fassbender is on the set of what could be Professor Xavier’s School.
