Wolverine, Rogue and Kitty Pryde investigate the emergence of new mutants and murder in small town in Marvel Knights: X-Men by Brahm Revel. The writer tells Marvel.com why these mutant heroes made the cut for his 5-part limited series:

“Well Wolverine was a given,” Revel says. “If I’m gonna do an X-Men story, I’m putting Wolverine in it. And as I said above, this is a story about how the past can come back to haunt you, so Wolverine made sense because he is a character with a checkered past. He’s a killer and has rage issues, yet he still identifies himself as a good guy. At a certain point he has to reconcile these two opposing identities. Continue reading Meet the Marvel Knights X-Men

Quesada eventually became Editor-In-Chief and is now Chief Creative Officer.

Current Marvel Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso is reviving the line and has recruited top independent creators to take on classic characters new limited series.

INHUMANITY Hits Marvel

Infinity #3 courtesy Marvel

The Inhumans are one of my all-time favorite teams in comics and their leader, Black Bolt, is one of the most fascinating characters in comics. I was thrilled to learn the Inhumans will rise up to play a major role in the fight against Thanos during the Infinity event.

I’m excited to share the news from Marvel about Inhumanity! One of my favorite writers, plus one of the most dynamic artists will chronicle the next evolution of the Inhumans in a brand new series.

Matt Fraction (Fantastic Four, FF, Hawkeye) and Joe Madureira will launch Inhumans in 2014. Black Bolt, Medusa and the rest of the Kree creations have appeared in Fantastic Four and the Avengers with the occasional limited series. Continue reading INHUMANITY Hits Marvel

DC Comics is letting the inmates run the asylum in Villains Month this September. It’s not just the rogues taking over each book but it’s the return of the deadliest secret society in Batman mythology!

James Tynion IV (Talon, Red Hood and the Outlaws) will resurrect the League of Assassins in their own one-shot. The League was founded by Ra’s Al Ghul (non comic book movie fans will remember them as the League of Shadows in The Dark Knight Trilogy.) DC Comics already teased The New 52 debut of killers like Bronze Tiger in Red Hood and the Outlaws. The writer explains how the League’s return happened: Continue reading League of Assassins Strike in Villains Month
