Superman returns to the big screen again in 2015 opposite Batman. Greg Pak is writing a young Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne in Batman/Superman and takes over Action Comics starring a modern Superman this Fall. Pak is teasing his first arc on the iconic title:

Gerry Duggan will go from writing Marvel’s most violent bad guy to its freshest face. Duggan co-writes Deadpool with Brian Posehn but aims for the stars when he takes over Nova. Duggan’s first issue will be Nova #100 to commemorate 100 total issues over all the volumes of Nova books.

 

Sam Alexander has met the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Watcher and the Chitauri. What will Duggan throw as the teen?

UNITY is a new monthly series by Matt Kindt, Doug Braithwaite and Brian Reber.
This is the big payoff after last week’s teasers:  “To kill a king…he has created an army.”

 

Harbinger lead villain Toyo Harada will unite the most lethal team the Valiant Universe has ever known to kill X-O Manowar!

KICK-ASS Star on Quicksilver in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in talks to play Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The mutant criminal (and son of Magneto) turned Avenging hero is one of the most divisive characters in Marvel Comics.

 

While promoting Kick-Ass 2 the star was asked about the appeal of Quicksilver.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Preview

Joss Whedon and the cast and creative team of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. answered fan questions and previewed the upcoming series in a special Marvel liveblog. The new series will be set in The Avengers universe following the Iron Man 3. Clark Gregg reprises his role as Agent Phil Coulson in the series. Cobie Smulders returns as Agent Maria Hill in the pilot.

The BBC revealed the 12th Doctor Who:

Peter Capaldi was unveiled in a live worldwide special on the BBC.

 

The actor has been a lifelong fan. Capaldi confessed he was working in Prague and missed “the call” that he’d got the job. Capaldi was seen in the David Tennant episode The Fires of Pompeii episode. The special revealed Capaldi wrote a fan letter when he was 15.
