Are the stars aligning for Fox’s reboot of the Fantastic Four?

Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones) and Saoirse Ronan are testing for the roles of Reed Richards and Susan Storm according to Variety. The report goes on to say Miles Teller and Jack O’Connell will be considered for Richards while Kate Mara will test for Sue.

Reed and Sue become Marvel’s ultimate power couple, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman. With actors this young it sure look likes Fox is rebooting from the beginning and not picking up from the earlier FF movies. Continue reading GAMES OF THRONES Star Tests for FANTASTIC FOUR

Tom Hiddleston portrays Loki for the third time in Thor: The Dark World. After the events of The Avengers Loki sits in prison and Thor has lost any brotherly love he ever had.

We’ve established the [Thor and Loki] characters across two films,” he says. “So it means you can color in more shades with each character. Thor can get darker as a character…[and] it means that Loki can get even more [complex].” the actor tells Marvel.com.

The threat of a greater evil leads the God of Thunder to ask his half brother for help against Malekith and the Dark Elves. Continue reading Tom Hiddleston on Loki In THOR THE DARK WORLD

Marjorie Liu says goodbye to the mutants this week in Astonishing X-Men #68. From a milestone marriage to twisted sisters to a multidimensional apocalypse to a really big Iceman – Liu crafted some astonishing tales of mutants in love and war.

Fan favorite bad boys Wolverine and Gambit were on the team but I applaud Liu for letting some forgotten favorites take the lead. It was a joy to see New Mutant Karma and Cecilia Reyes back in action. Xi’an was the center of the first arc that saw her turned against her friends in bitter family feud from stretched from New York to Madripoor. Did we witness the birth of a Marvel super villain on last night’s MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. ?!

Agent Coulson and his team were on a mission to rescue Dr. Franklin Hall, the mentor of Fitz and Simmons and inventor of gravitonium. I won’t give away what happened in the episode but Hall is known in the comic books as Graviton, a frequent enemy of The Avengers. Continue reading Birth of a Villain On MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD
