Pretty Deadly is a strange, beautiful supernatural western revenge saga in the making by writer Kelly Sue DeConnick (see how she describes it here) and artist Emma Rios. The creator-owned comic was a smash and now Ginny’s story continues.
Image Comics shared a preview of issue two as Death’s Daughter continues her ride for vengeance. It’s a dark fairy tale with the trappings of a classic Western but this gorgeous genre busting refuses to be categorized. Continue reading PRETTY DEADLY #2 Preview
Here’s a preview of Archer & Armstrong #15 courtesy Valiant. Get ready for the next time-walking, history-smashing chapter of “Sect Civil War” by Fred Van Lente and Khari Evans.
“WARNING: This is no longer a (FINGER QUOTES) “fun” comic. Now that the Sect Civil War has begun, it is now a (FINGER QUOTES) “grim” and (FINGER QUOTES) “gritty” work of (REAL QUOTES) “sequential literature” with blood and headshots and naughty words (like “H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY-STICKS”) and if you squint real hard at the backgrounds, Continue reading ARCHER & ARMSTRONG #15 Preview

The rosters have changed but X-Force has always been the pro-active, clandestine unit of the X-Men doing what X-Men can’t…sometimes taking out their enemies before they can attack mutants.

A ruthless comic book character is making the leap to television in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Saffron Burrows joins the spy game as Victoria Hand on the next episode (November 12th)
Hand was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato during their New Avengersrun. During the post-Secret Invasion – Dark Reign era, Norman Osborn (Spidey villain Green Goblin) had convinced the U.S. government he was a reformed man and was put in charge of S.H.I.E.L.D. which he renamed H.A.M.M.E.R. and he even had his own Dark Avengers(villains masquerading as the fan favorite heroes.) Hand was a S.H.I.E.L.D. accountant promoted to be Osborn’s right hand. After Osborn’s downfall Captain America recruited Hand to work for the Avengers.
From the new shots courtesy Marvel it looks like Hand is a major player within S.H.I.E.L.D. but if she’s anything like her comic book counterpart…Coulson and company should watch out!
Saffron Burrows as Victoria Hand appears on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next Tuesday, November 12th. This could be a critical episode to watch for future of the series.
