The end is coming for James Howlett as the Death of Wolverine approaches.
Marvel already teased a new hero will rise to become the new Captain America  but can anyone take Logan’s place?

 

There’s no official word from Marvel on if a new hero will take the code-name and carry on Logan’s legacy but we’ve been looking at heroes and villains who could become The Next Wolverine.

A big year for Bucky Barnes keeps getting more exciting for fans of the dark hero. After a killer comeback on the big screen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and a critical role in Marvel’s big comics event Original Sin, Bucky will get a brand new solo series this Fall.

 

Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier #1 by Ales Kot (Secret Avengers, Zero) and Marco Rudy hits in October following the event of Original Sin according to the A.V. Club. New Team On BATGIRL, New GAIL SIMONE Mystery Project

A new creative team and new look for Batgirl. Gail Simone is leaving the Gotham City heroine after relaunching Barbara Gordon into The New 52 era.

 

Cameron Stewart (Batman, Incorporated) and Brenden Fletcher (Wednesday Comics) will be the new co-writers with Babs Tarr on art according to MTV News.

ROBBIE AMELL Joins THE FLASH As FIRESTORM

The CW is recruiting a new DC Comics icon to join new series The Flash. Robbie Amell (The Tomorrow People) will Ronnie Raymond (aka Firestorm) according to TV Guide.

 

Amell is the cousin of Arrow star Stephen Amell. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) guest starred on Arrow before fast tracking into his own series. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Extended Trailer

The geek universe is buzzing at light speed after a lucky few experienced an IMAX preview of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy with more action, more classic rock and roll and a first look at Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) as blue-skinned warrior Yondu.

 

For the rest of us mere mortals here’s an extended look (aka trailer #3 via CBM trailers) as Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) declares the “losers” of the universe and attempts to rally his fellow criminals into uniting against the threat of Ronan (Lee Pace) while sparring in hilarious exchanges with Rocket (Bradley Cooper.)

New creative team for Catwoman.

New role for Selina Kyle.

Klarion the Witch Boy makes his New 52 debut in a brand new book.

 

DC Comics announced via io9 that current Catwoman writer Ann Nocenti will leave the book to launch a brand new Klarion with artist Trevor McCarthy.
