Gotham reveals the origins of Jim Gordon and Batman’s greatest enemies.

 

The premiere set the stage for Gordon’s friendship with young Bruce Wayne, partnership with Harvey Bullock, the beginnings of future super villains and the power struggle under Carmine Falcone and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) and especially the twisted transformation of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) into Penguin.

 

Fox shared an extended trailer for the series via YouTube.

 

A major Batman villain seizes the stage, plans for Arkham Asylum are revealed and more classic enemies are teased.

Logan lost his healing factor, his enemies on the attack and his quest leads him to Japan to face one of his most powerful foes.

The villain who shows up here is someone who ties thematically into those ideas very strongly—one of my long-time favorite Wolverine baddies, in fact.
