The actor who played a beloved FBI Special Agent is now playing a villain opposite Agents of SHIELD.

 

Kyle MacLachlan made his first full appearance on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last week.

 

Now Marvel is giving us a closer look at MacLachlan as “The Doctor.”

 

The veteran actor (Dune, Blue Velvet, Portlandia) is playing the father of Agent Skye (Chloe Bennett)

 

Today’s reveal came after huge news that Twin Peaks will return as a series event on Showtime in 2016.

 

MacLachlan played Agent Dale Cooper on the cult classic series. Creators David Lynch and Mark Frost and Showtime shared the news via this YouTube video starring Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) herself:

WOLVERINE KISSES STORM in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Wolverine kissed Storm and they became lovers in the comic books.

 

Logan and Ororo shared an attraction in the X-Men movies but his heart belonged to Jean Grey.

Rick Cosnett is playing Detective Eddie Thawne on The Flash.

 

He’s the plan standing in between Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris Allen on the new CW series.

 

“I really feel like he’s irritatingly awesome. He’s one of those guys where you hate him, but you can’t help falling in love with him at the same time. He’s just so flawless. He’s good at everything, he always gets what he wants, everything he touches turns to gold, he always sweeps in and saves the day… Everything just seems to end up turning out for Eddie, much to poor Barry’s dismay,” Cosnett told DC Comics. Logan and Storm shared a passionate kiss on the cover of Wolverine and the X-Men #24,  but will she get to say goodbye before he dies?

 

Logan has been a friend, teammate, mentor and recently lover of Ororo. While that famous kiss wasn’t the first – fans are wondering if the two X-Men will get to share a moment before he leaves.

X-MEN APOCALYPSE Embraces 1980’s

X-Men: First Class was set in the 1960’s.

X-Men: Days of Future Past got groovy in the 1970’s.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be totally 1980’s.

 

Producer Simon Kinberg says he and director Bryan Singer are enjoying writing the sequel with that time period.
