EVE: VALKYRIE BRIAN WOOD Reveals Origin of Video Game

Dark Horse Comics recruits Brian Wood (The Massive, X-Men) for a new miniseries based on EVE: Valkyrie, the acclaimed video game in development by CCP Games.

 

At New York Comic Con Dark Horse announced Wood and artist Eduardo Francisco will reveal the origin story of pilot Rán and the rise of the Valkyrie.

From the publisher:

“In development at CCP’s Newcastle studio, EVE: Valkyrie is a multiplayer dogfighting shooter set in the EVE universe that uses virtual reality to give players the sense of being real pilots in EVE Online spaceships. Star Wars – Kanan: The Last Padawan explores the origin of Kanan Jarrus. Star Wars: Rebels Executive Producer Greg Weisman will launch the series starring the renegade. Marvel announces an epic crossover event uniting the space-facing, cosmic and young mutants when an ancient alien artifact emerges.

 

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Black Vortex will have two bookends and runs through Guardians of the Galaxy, Legendary Star-Lord, All-New X-Men, Cyclops, Captain Marvel and Nova.

Woodrow McCord (Nick Fury’s predecessor as the “Man on the Wall” from Original Sin) joins the duo in in globe-trotting battle that takes them into Russia.
