Nick Looney is a second grader fighting cancer but he became Red Lightning today thanks to Make-A-Wish.

After two years of battling a disease, Nick fulfilled his dream of becoming a superhero.

Thanks Nick for your bravery and Red Lightning for saving Seattle’s music scene. Macklemore was among the Seattle music icons who sent thank you messages to the young hero.

From AVENGERS: TIME RUNS OUT To SECRET WARS

The path to Secret Wars begins with Time Runs Out in Avengers and New Avengers.

The plan goes way back to when writer Jonathan Hickman took over the adventures of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Illuminati.

It all leads to Marvel’s big event of 2015 when heroes from multiple Earths clash in Secret Wars.

Time Runs Out is playing out in a near future with heroes vs. heroes as the final Incursion is coming to smash Earth out of existence.

Batman: Endgame, Part Two packed a sucker punch and revealed the long game played by the Dark Knight’s greatest enemy.

The Joker is back.

That’s not a spoiler.

The Justice League were out for Bruce’s blood in part one. In the final panel we learned Superman and the League were under the Joker’s influence.

The incredible battle between Batman and a Jokerized Superman was a brutal fanboy and girl dream but then writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo delivered a truly creepy stunner.

DONNA TROY Returns In CONVERGENCE

Convergence is the 2015 event bringing back heroes and villains from multiple Earths and continuities. Brainiac collects lost Earths in bottles like Kandor until he opens them on a mysterious planet. The teaser starring new villain Telos and characters from classic DC eras inspired fans to wonder which classic heroes will finally enter The New 52 continuity.

“Seattle-based musician relics, including a Univox Hy-Flyer guitar smashed by Kurt Cobain, a Fender Stratocaster played by Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock, a Bengal tiger jacket worn by Macklemore in the “Thrift Shop” music video and Technics SL-1200 MK2 turntables used in performance by Grandmaster Flash, have gone missing from the EMP Museum.
