RED HOODS, EASTER EGGS & JOKERS On GOTHAM

The Red Hood Gang hit Gotham but the Joker is still haunting the series in an episode packed with Easter Eggs and homages to DC Comics.

This week’s episode adds to the speculation the man who will become the Joker has already made an appearance on the “before Batman” prequel series.

The Red Hood Gang is a group of criminals who take orders from a central figure in a red hood.

After last week’s “could this be the Joker” moment after Jim Gordon solved the Haly’s Circus murder, producers deliver another zinger theory for us to ponder and revisit one Joker hint from an earlier episode.

THORS, SUPER COPS of SECRET WARS BATTLEWORLD

When universes end, Battleworld begins but there are still cops in the chaos.

Marvel announced Thors, a Secret Wars tie-in series by Jason Aaron and Chris Sprouse.

When Aaron took over Thor, he conjured an epic with Thors from 3 time periods. Then he replaced the Odinson. Now he’s got a multiverse of Thunder Gods and Goddesses at his command.

CALISTA FLOCKHART Joins SUPERGIRL

Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal, Brothers & Sisters) is soaring back to television in Supergirl.

Flockhart has been cast as Cat Grant in the CBS pilot according to Variety. The role is described as a “self-made media mogul and founder of CatCo, where Kara Zor-El  works as her assistant. Cat started her career as a reporter and has built her company into a global powerhouse.”

Melissa Benoist is playing Kara/Supergirl in the series from Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash) and Ali Adler.

HAYLEY ATWELL at EMERALD CITY COMICON 2015

Emerald City Comicon announced the final celebrity guest announcement and it’s a huge addition to their stellar lineup.

Hayley Atwell will be appearing Friday only at the pop culture event in Seattle.

HUGH JACKMAN On Playing WOLVERINE Until He Dies

Old Man Logan is making a comeback as part of Marvel Comics Secret Wars this summer. Hugh Jackman may keep playing Wolverine until he’s the right age to play that future version of the X-Man.

It’s been a long agonizing month waiting for Batman #39 after last issue’s shocking cliffhanger.

Bruce Wayne is always portrayed as always one step ahead of his enemies but Batman (and the rest of us) are perplexed by Scott Snyder’s “final” Joker epic.

Endgame is a thrilling mind game taking us to the unexpected.
