The future is “Extraordinary” for the Children of the Atom! A new adjective for the new flagship X-Men coming after Secret Wars.

Marvel announced All-New Hawkeye writer Jeff Lemire, Amazing Spider-Man artist Humberto Ramos and colorist Edgar Delgado will be the team behind Extraordinary X-Men as revealed by Comic Book Resources.

A brand new team led by Storm with old and new versions of favorite X-Men will band together after “something big” happens between Inhumans and mutants including the disappearance of Cyclops.

BEAST Joins UNCANNY INHUMANS

Beast is joining the Uncanny Inhumans.

Hank McCoy is the second non-Inhuman to join the cast of the upcoming book. Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four is joining the team and he’s in love with Medusa.

We don’t know the fate of the X-Men or the new creative team until Uncanny X-Men #600 hits after Secret Wars. The milestone and final issue by Brian Michael Bendis is “The Trial of Hank McCoy” in which he may face the repercussions for bringing the X-Men of the past into the present.

Now we know this founding X-Man will survive. Uncanny Inhumans writer Charles Soule says to expect a “cold war” between Inhumans and mutants but “things have gone very wrong somehow” explains the Beast’s role in the new book: Continue reading BEAST Joins UNCANNY INHUMANS

Midnighter blasted from the pages of Grayson into his own solo book. DC Comics shared a look inside Midnighter #2.

The Midnighter is one of the few GLBT heroes headling his own series by writer Steve Orlando. Born in the pages of Stormwatch and The Authority, Midnighter guest starred in Dick Grayson’s solo spy book.

Now Midnighter is after stolen tech and his past.

OLIVIA MUNN In PSYLOCKE Swordplay for X-MEN APOCALYPSE

Olivia Munn is now on set for X-Men: Apocalypse. The actress is getting ready for her role as Psylocke and shared a new video via her Instagram.

Munn “learned some new tricks” involving swordplay.

Munn is playing the “telepathic ninja” who is an expert with real swords and has the ability to focus her psychic power into a knife and katana sword in comics.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens May, 2016.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season Two Finale dropped big hints but now Marvel makes it official: The Secret Warriors make the jump from comics to the show next season.

Agent Skye’s real name and background was exposed last season. Skye (Chloe Bennett) is actually Daisy who gained the power to shake the earth. In a diversion from comics canon, Daisy gained her powers from Terrigenesis exposing her as an Inhuman.
