Valiant announced The Shadow Wars at C2E2 with writer Matt Kindt pitting MI-6’s most elite agents against four new enemies with an all-star lineup of artists on board.

The new story arc begins in NINJAK #6 from Kindt and artists: Raul Allen, Juan Jose Ryp, Stephen Segovia, and Clay Mann.

Are ready for even more superhero movies?

Major announcements this week mean more Spidey, new comic book heroes hitting the big screen, and adding to a packed schedule between now and 2020.

This week Valiant and Sony announced a plan to make 2 Bloodshot films, 2 Harbinger films and leading to crossover based on Harbinger Wars.

Plus, The Lego Movie directors are signed up for a Spider-Man animated movie for Sony.

BLOODSHOT, HARBINGER Comics To Movies

Valiant’s Bloodshot and Harbinger are hitting the big screen.

Valiant Entertainment and Sony Pictures announced a five picture deal according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bloodshot will be directed by the team behind John Wick: David Leitch and Chad Stahelski, working with a screenplay by Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2) and Eric Heisserer. Matthew Vaughn and Jason Kothari will act as executive producers. This film is being targeted for 2017.

Heisserer is working on the Harbinger. No word on possible directors.

After two Bloodshot and two Harbinger films comes Harbinger Wars based on the comic book crossover of 2013. Continue reading BLOODSHOT, HARBINGER Comics To Movies
