VIXEN Comic-Con Reel

The newest hero to leap into the DC Comics/CW universe is Vixen.

DC Comics shared this first look at the Vixen animated web series on CWSeed at Comic-Con.

Mari Jiwe McCabe grew in the fictional African country of Zambesi. McCabe’s family were holders of a mystical totem but her uncle killed her parents and stole the totem.

Mari escaped to America, became an international supermodel, built a fortune and traveled to her homeland to take back her family’s legacy and totem that gives her the power to mimic abilities of animals and became known as “Vixen.”

This new heroine is on a collision course with Arrow and The Flash.

MILESTONE UNIVERSE HEROES RETURN In EARTH-M

The Milestone Universe returns in Earth-M.

Reggie Hudlin and Denys Cowan will team up with Jim Lee and Geoff Johns to bring the roster of culturally and ethnically diverse characters back to DC Universe with original graphic novels, one Shots, and miniseries

DC Entertainment’s Co-Publisher Jim Lee, producer/director Reginald Hudlin and Milestone Media co-founder/artist Denys Cowan announced the creation of “Earth-M,” which will be home to the “Dakota” universe of characters from 1993’s Milestone Media and a host of all new characters. GRANT MORRISON MULTIVERSITY TOO

Grant Morrison announced two big new projects for DC Entertainment during his “Multiversity and Beyond” panel at Comic-Con San Diego.

Here’s the official announcement:

Morrison revealed “MULTIVERSITY TOO,” a line of original graphic novels based on his groundbreaking and bestselling titles from “The Multiversity” series of monthly comics and his “MULTIVERSITY GUIDEBOOK.” Fans will experience stories from throughout the 52 (or more?) worlds that make up Morrison’s Map of the Multiverse and whether it’s the further adventures of Earth-4’s PAX AMERICANA, the New Reichsmen of Earth-10, the female-led Justice Guild of Earth-11 or even one of the seven “unknown worlds,” everything is fair game! Just how powerful is Darth Vader?

Imagine the Sith Lord alone against a Rebel Alliance onslaught.

Marvel announced the first Star Wars comics crossover at Comic-Con International.

Star Wars: Vader Down #1 will be the standalone issue by Jason Aaron and Kieron Gillen with art by Mike Deodato and Salvador Larroca with covers by Mark Brooks.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE COMIC-CON Trailer

Warner Brothers and director Zack Snyder unveiled the new trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. and this new image of the DC icons.

The cast met fans at the DC Entertainment panel and booth at Comic-Con.

The trailer reveals what will cause the battle between the heroes. Events in Man of Steel inspired Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) to come back as the Dark Knight while Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) is on a mission to uncover the truth about the Batman.

The new trailer gives us our first look at Gal Gadot as Diana Prince and Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and….KRYPTONITE!

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Comic-Con Trailer

DC Entertainment showed a sizzle reel for the return of Arrow, The Flash and the debut of Legends of Tomorrow on The CW at Comic-Con in San Diego.

The “Hero Evolution” includes profiles of the heroes and villains recruited by Rip Hunter for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The Time Master recruits a team to battle a classic DC villain.

New INHUMAN Joining AGENTS OF SHIELD

Fans are excited the Secret Warriors are coming to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next season but the big news at the SDCC Marvel Television Panel was about a new villain.

Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb announced comics villain Lash is coming to the series this season but no actor has been cast yet.

Lash was co-created by Charles Soule and Joe Maduirera in the Inhuman comic book. This powerful Inhuman from a secret city emerged after Terrigenesis spread across the Earth creating NuHumans. Lash sees himself as judge of which new Inhumans were worthy of having powers. Lash came into instant conflict with Queen Medusa who gave refuge to the NuHumans.
