Most Wanted BATMAN Foes For GOTHAM

Gotham Season Two kicked off with new villains, an Arkham Asylum  breakout and a new King of the Underworld.

Rise of The Villains saw the introduction of James Frain and Jessica Lucas joined the series as siblings Theo & Tabitha Galavan, the return of Cameron Monaghan as Jerome Valeska (the future Joker?) while Penguin ruled the roost and Edward Nygma slipped further into insanity.

Showrunner Bruno Heller confirmed The Court of Owls will be coming but have no exact time frame.

The Rise of the Villains began on Gotham Season Two with Penguin as the underworld King but are Owls flocking to the Batman prequel series?

The Court of Owls is a shadowy organization co-created by Batman Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo which kicked off their fan-favorite New 52 run.

James Frain and Jessica Lucas plays the Galavans, a brother/sister villain team which could have deep ties into Gotham City’s history. The  introduction of the siblings made fans suspect the Owls might hold court on the series.

New BLACK PANTHER By TA-NEHESI COATES & BRIAN STELFREEZE

The first black superhero will star in a his own brand new ongoing series in 2016.

Marvel announced writer Ta-Nehisi Coates and artist Brian Stelfreeze as the creative team on the new Black Panther book via The New York Times.

Coates is the acclaimed author of Between the World and Me, correspondent for The Atlantic and nominee for the National Book Award. This will mark the comic book debut for Coates. Batman fans will remember Stelfreeze’s run of covers for Shadow of the Bat.

Marvel revealed “A Nation Under Our Feet” will be a “yearlong story line” by Coates and Stelfreeze. The arc is inspired by the 2003 book of the same title by Steven Hahn. The youngest X-Men are breaking away from the old guard when the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now begins.

While Storm’s Extraordinary X-Men are fighting a new threat that’s killing mutants, the All-New X-Men are on the road trying to be heroes.

The “new” All-New X-Men by Dennis Hopeless and Mark Bagley are the time-lost young Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman with Oya, Evan Genesis and Laura Kinney (the former X-23 and new Wolverine.)
