Marvel announced Spider-Women at New York City Comic Con,

Jessica Drew, Gwen Stacy and Cindy Moon are all staring in brand new one issues as part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.

All three heroines will meet in a crossover event in 2016.

The original creative team (Jason Latour, Robbi Rodriguez) return for a new volume of  Spider-Gwen teasing the story of the Goblins on that Gwen Stacy’s world.

X-MEN FUTURE Updates NYCC

Marvel shared new updates on the future of the X-Men at the Marvel All-New, All-Different Panel at NYCC and the boss made one thing clear.

“Contrary to popular opinion, we are NOT canceling the X-Men.” Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso declared. There have been conspiracy theories and rumors the X-line is getting cut and the Inhumans are expanding because a rival studio controls the X-Men film rights.

Inhumans are on the rise and as we’ve reported before, the Terrigenesis that is causing a spike in NuHumans is killing mutants.

Storm leads the Extraordinary X-Men (by Jeff Lemire and Humberto Ramos) on a global mission to protect mutants from the threat of the Terrigen Cloud. Beast is joining Uncanny Inhumans but it looks like a possible genetic war on the horizon. Continue reading X-MEN FUTURE Updates NYCC

AGENT CARTER SEASON TWO New Cast Revealed

Marvel announced four actors joining the cast of Agent Carter Season Two at New York Comic Con including main villain Madame Masque and the mysterious wife of Edwin Jarvis.

Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb also confirmed Dominic Cooper will return as Howard Stark and Bridget Regan will be back at Dottie Underwood, the Russian spy from the Black Widow program.

“Dottie is a true match for Peggy and Bridget plays this duplicitous role so compellingly,” said Loeb.

ALIENS: DEFIANCE At NYCC

Those acid-blooded Xenomorphs are back.

One woman fights to save Earth from the most horrific monsters in science fiction history in a brand new Aliens series from Dark Horse Comics.

At the Dark Horse: CLASSIFIED! panel at New York Comic Con, writer Brian Wood (The Massive, Rebels) and artist Tristan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road, TMNT) were announced as the creative team on Aliens: Defiance. The new ongoing series comes just in time to celebrate the anniversary of Aliens.

The secret history of two legends of the Jedi will be revealed in 2016.

Marvel announced Star Wars: Obi-Wan and Anakin #1 at New York Comic Con.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER HIGH SCHOOL YEARS Graphic Novel Series

It’s back to the beginning for Buffy Summers as the hero goes back to school in a brand new project revealed at the Dark Horse: CLASSIFIED! panel at New York Comic Con 2015.

Dark Horse will present a new original graphic novel series titled Buffy: The High School Years, executive produced by Joss Whedon. The first volume will be written by Eisner Award–winning author Faith Erin Hicks (The Adventures of Superhero Girl) with artist Yishan Li.

“I’m thrilled to be writing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic; the TV show was a formative story for me. I loved it so much that the very first comic I ever created was a Buffy the Vampire Slayer homage. It’s beyond exciting to get a chance to write the real thing!” said Hicks. At New York Comic Con, DC Comics shared new art and updates on Dark Knight III: The Master Race, Frank Miller’s final chapter of his game-changing Dark Knight Trilogy.

Co-Publisher Jim Lee, DKIII writer Brian Azzarello, DKIII artist Andy Kubert and inker Klaus Janson shared news of their collaboration with the legendary Miller and the influence the previous two chapters had on them.

AVENGERS STANDOFF Announced at NYCC

The All-New, All-Different Marvel Now is here and the publisher revealed a major crossover starring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Marvel announced Avengers: Standoff during the Iron Man and Avengers panel at New York City Comic Con.

The crossover is tied to the 75th anniversary of Captain America and will run through all the core Avengers titles. The story starts with an Alpha issue (Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill) by Nick Spencer and Jesus Saiz and wrapping with an Omega book.
