From JAMES BOND Book to Movie, 7 for 007.

Spectre feels like the end for the Daniel Craig James Bond era. The star is signed for a fifth film and was a producer of the latest 007 adventure who recruited director Sam Mendes to return.

After  24 films and more than 50 years, creators still find inspiration in the Ian Fleming novels. EON Productions went back to the first Fleming novel for Craig’s first film. Casino Royale was followed by Quantum of Solace then Mendes explored Bond’s youth in Scotland in Skyfall. In Spectre, Oberhauser (a father figure in Bond’s life mentioned briefly in a short story) was part of the story that saw the return of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and Blofeld to films.

The latest version of team features legacy heroes (Sam Wilson as Captain America, Jane Foster as Thor) and rookies Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Sam Alexander/Nova with veterans Iron Man and Vision.

Imagine the surprise way back when villains Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver joined. The New Avengers era saw the inclusion of Wolverine, Luke Cage and Echo.

Have a Jelly Baby with your comic book?

The Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith return for a brand new adventure.

Titan Comics and BBC Worldwide announced a brand-new mini series starring the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith, as played by Tom Baker and the late Elisabeth Sladen.

For a generation Baker with his signature hat, scarf and favorite snack was their Doctor playing the Time Lord from 1974 to 1981.

Sladen reunited with the Doctor (then played by the Tenth, David Tennant) and even starred in her own television series.

ALL-NEW INHUMANS Preview

Terrigenesis is harming mutants as we learned in Extraordinary X-Men but a new threat from the skies is targeting Inhumans. Skyspears are suddenly appearing on Earth. The obelisks are causing Inhumans to have dangerous surges of power.

Medusa’s sister Crystal is making a big comeback as leader of the All-New Inhumans. Marvel calls Crystal’s team “part diplomatic emissaries, part strike force” and will protect their race “by any means necessary.”
