SECRET WARRIORS for AGENTS OF SHIELD For Your Consideration

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to take inspiration the comic canon of Jonathan Hickman’s Secret Warriors run.

As the series returns, we see the introduction of Slingshot (Yo-Yo Rodriguez) and Hive (a dead Grant Ward now possessed by an Inhuman entity) more Inhumans and an even closer version of the comic book squad of super-powered agents lead by the Inhuman Quake (Chloe Bennet as Skye turned Daisy).

One of our 16 geek wishes for 2016 was the introduction of more Secret Warriors on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Is Oscar winner J.K. Simmons leaving The Daily Bugle for Gotham City’s top cop job?

Simmons has joined the cast of Justice League as Commissioner Jim Gordon according to The Hollywood Reporter. The two-part film is the follow up to Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, which sets up the new DC Comics Universe with Warner Brothers.

The super-powered sequel will feature new Batman Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman with Cyborg, Flash and Aquaman on the team. The film begins production next month.

Action Comics #50

Kal-El vs. Vandal Savage’s army to take back his Fortress of Solitude and his birthright. A SUPER moment Superman fans have been waiting for since Truth. This 50th issue anniversary by Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder leads to the finale of Savage Dawn and full-powered return of the Man of Steel.

AVENGERS STANDOFF Strikes AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

A huge week for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans on television and in the comic book shops.

Phil Coulson and his team face a new twist on a villain, cope with the outbreak of Inhumans and a newly empowered Hydra when the television series returns to ABC Tuesday at 9 pm.

In the comic book, Marvel’s first big crossover of 2016 hits the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comic book by Marc Guggenheim and German Peralta.

Winter Soldier has discovered the Maria Hill’s shocking secret. We won’t spoil the events of Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill: Omega but it will affect Hill, Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson. MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD Renewed for Season 4

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return for a fourth season. ABC renewed the series starring Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson.

Before the next season, the team must survive the threat of Hive, Hydra and the booming population of Inhumans. Agent Daisy/Quake (Chloe Bennet) will seek out other Inhumans as the series continues get inspiration from the Secret Warriors comic book series. JOSS WHEDON Returns to MARVEL For CAPTAIN AMERICA

Before Joss Whedon directed Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, he wrote the X-Men comic book.

Whedon will reunite with artist John Cassaday for a new Captain America story according to ComicBook.com. Whedon’s story will appear in Captain America, Sam Wilson #7. The book will include stories by the title’s current team, Nick Spencer and Daniel Acuca, Greg Rucka and Mike Perkins. AVENGERS COMEBACKS For Your Consideration

Old school is new again.
