The End is coming for the Ultimate Universe.

After Ultimatum and Cataclysm claimed the lives of so many heroes is this 2015 event the end of the line for this line?

Marvel launched the Ultimate Universe in 2000 with modern takes on iconic characters and where dead meant dead and Nick Fury was Samuel L. Jackson.

If this is truly the end of an era will some heroes survive and move into the Marvel 616 universe?

Here are our favorite Ultimate characters that should make the move. Continue reading ULTIMATE UNIVERSE SURVIVORS

X-MEN EXODUS?

AXIS #4 courtesy Marvel

Are the X-Men about to have an exodus?

Are the Jean Grey School and Xavier School closing their doors?

In the just announced November previews, Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #4 see the X-Men “join their greatest foe” and in #5 “claim a new home.”

This is the latest clue that could be pointing to the mutants starting over in a new base.

AXIS is the inversion of many Marvel heroes so the tease above could mean the mutants are siding with Apocalypse or aligning with Magneto and finding a new home among old enemies. Continue reading X-MEN EXODUS?

The end is coming for James Howlett as the Death of Wolverine approaches.
Marvel already teased a new hero will rise to become the new Captain America  but can anyone take Logan’s place?

There’s no official word from Marvel on if a new hero will take the code-name and carry on Logan’s legacy but we’ve been looking at heroes and villains who could become The Next Wolverine.

This next suggestion came from a Facebook follower: Jubilee. You may be surprised but this character has radically changed from the bratty mall rat who used to be Wolvie’s sidekick. Continue reading THE NEXT WOLVERINE Part 4

After reading Wolverine #9, the next to last chapter of Three Months to Die, I thought about my next and maybe best candidate for the next Wolverine. No one can replace James Howlett aka Logan but will someone take up the code-name and carry on the X-Man’s legacy?

After Logan’s literal dance with “Death” in this week’s issue I thought of the perfect hero become the next Wolverine.

Laura Kinney aka X-23.

Laura is a clone created from Logan’s DNA (his X-gene to be specific) in a section of the Weapon X program. Born in blood, bred to be an assassin and reborn a hero – Laura would be a student at Xavier’s but would later be recruited (against Logan’s wishes) for the X-Force.
