Who ruled the buzz of 2014 on Comics Blend?

As voted by your views – here are our top new stories of 2014.

Harley Quinn’s Man Trouble in 2015

All hail Harley Queen as the sits atop the list as the most viewed new story and shared story of the year!

You loved the idea of Harley in love and war as she tries to win back her ex in her solo book and guest stars in Deathstroke as she has a three-way fight with her Suicide Squad teammate and the Dark Knight. It’s all coming in early 2015.

Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver No More Mutants?

One of the biggest bombshells of Avengers and X-Men: AXIS! If Wanda and Pietro aren’t the children of Magneto – what are they and who is their real father? The search for answers begins in the next volume of Uncanny Avengers by Rick Remender in January. And of course we’ll see the twins in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Wizard World Portland Comic Con Day Three

Our coverage of creators and cosplayers in the Rose City event was a big hit. Maybe it was that Wonder Woman cosplayer or Galactus holding the whole world in his hands?!

Hulk to Kluh in AXIS

Just as Hulk evolved into a new persona, Doc Green, in his solo book by Garry Duggan – Rick Remender gave us a radical twist on the Green Goliath in AXIS. The inversion spell gave us a Grey Giant with a white mohawk and bizarro backwards name.

Magneto vs. Red Skull in Marvel AXIS Cover Preview

Magneto had enough reasons to hate the infamous Nazi but then he learned what the Red Skull did to his friend Professor X. The Master of Magnetism took on the mutant powered madman but only unleashed a greater evil – The Red Onslaught – kicking off AXIS – one of the most twisted Marvel epics ever.

Don’t Call Doc Green the Hulk

The Hulk evolved again as Garry Duggan took over the Hulk title. “Doc Green” is an Extremis empowered incarnation of the Hulk who is even smarter than Bruce Banner. The Doc began a crusade to take out other gamma-powered heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe.

Legendary Romance of Star-Lord and Kitty Pryde

Colossus who? Fans seem to love the long-distance love of the Guardian of the Galaxy leader and X-Men favorite. The two will get up close and personal in 2015 in The Black Vortex crossover event.

New Superman Suit in 2015

Geoff Johns teased new powers and a new costume for the Man of Steel in Superman #38. Will it be as a radical as the electric blue Superman of the 90’s or as simple as a return of the red underwear as outerwear?

There you have it – the top ten new stories as voted by views of 2014.

The number one most viewed story on here in 2014 was from more than a year ago. Can you guess what it was?

Here’s a big hint:

X-Men: Wolverine and Storm Kiss from January 2013 came roaring back with a vengeance and was our most viewed story.

I guess you were nostalgic for the romance between Logan and Ororo from Jason Aaron’s first volume of Wolverine and the X-Men. This was the year we lost Wolverine and no one will be feeling his loss as hard as Storm. Logan and Storm (as portrayed by Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry) shared a kiss in a scene cut from X-Men: Days of Future Past.
