The return of Ra’s Al Ghul and the League of Assassins.

The rematch with Oliver Queen and Ra’s with a twist.

The fate of Malcolm Merlyn.

Nyssa’s revenge.

Triple crosses led to a fateful confrontation in Nanda Parbat, the name of this week’s Arrow episode and domain of Ra’s Al Ghul.

Merlyn went from chief villain of season one to what some may call an anti-hero. We learned of the tragedy that sent Merlyn down the path of vengeance and the League of Assassins. Merlyn even teamed up with Oliver (Stephen Amell) to save Thea.

“That’s really the beauty of this DC world that has been created,” says Barrowman told DC Comics. “Everybody is in it for the same reason. It’s all about saving something, doing something. But what’s great is how each person turns in a different way, and one’s a good way and one’s a bad way.”

SPOILER ALERT!

If you did not watch this week’s Arrow episode yet stop reading now.

Seriously.

Here it comes.

An angry Thea turned on her father and delivered him to the League of Assassins. Nyssa was captured but Thea confessed her guilt of killing Sara and opened the cage to face Nyssa’s wrath. (Nyssa and Sara were lovers.)

Oliver and John Diggle invaded Nanda Parbat to rescue Merlyn only to be captured by Ra’s Al Ghul.

Just when we thought Ra’s would kill Oliver he made him an offer: to take over the title of Ra’s Al Ghul and become leader of the League.

Will Oliver accept “The Offer” and what does this say about Ra’s?

Arrow returns March 18th.
