The original Wolverine/James Howlett/Logan meet the young Jean Grey (she was pulled from the past into the present by Beast) in the Uncanny X-Men/All-New X-Men run by Brian Michael Bendis.
James/Logan died in Death of Wolverine by Charles Soule.
Old Man Logan is the original Wolverine but from the future.
The original Jean Grey is still dead.
Young Jean Grey and her fellow original X-Men are staying in the present.
In the transformation from Secret Wars Battleworld to the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now, Old Man Logan will survive and join the new Marvel Universe.
So original and young Jean Grey from the past will meet original and much older Logan/Wolverine from the future.
I wonder what Doctor Who would say about this?!
