Nicholas Hoult returns as Hank McCoy in X-Men: Days of Future Past. In X-Men: First Class Hank’s mutation was accelerated by his own creation (using Mystique’s DNA) transforming him into the furry blue Beast.
In this picture from Director Bryan Singer via Twitter – McCoy is back in human form and sporting 1973 style.
You might think it’s a spoiler but it’s possible this is the shapeshifter Mystique or it could mean the new film introduces a new technology from the comic books.
Beast and Kurt Wagner (aka Nightcrawler) both used “image inducers” to hide their natural mutant appearance. In X-Men: First Class we learned Hank built almost all of the X-tech we know and love like cerebro and the X-jet so why not the image inducer?
X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives in May.
