Mockingbird is soaring even higher.
Marvel announced a new ongoing series starring the former Avenger at the Diamond Retailer Summit according to Comic Book Resources.
The new ongoing with be written by novelist Chelsea Cain who just made her Marvel debut with a Mockingbird one-shot as part of a series of S.H.I.E.L.D. 50th Anniversary one-shots. The publisher noted “overwhelming response” to the issue.
Barbara “Bobbi” Morse is played by Adrianne Palicki on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and a pilot for a spinoff series in the works. (Marvel’s Most Wanted)
In the comics Morse is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent once married to Hawkeye and an on-again, off-again member of Avengers teams.
On the television series Morse is involved with mercenary Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) who will co-star in the possible spinoff.
No word on the artist of release date.
