The Inhuman factor is booming in the Marvel Universe. In the winter finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. Skye and Raina were exposed as Inhumans.

Marvel announced Luke Mitchell (The Tomorrow People, Home and Away) will join the series as Lincoln, a charismatic Inhuman “who has an important role to play in Skye understanding the true extent of her transformation.”

“With the revelations surrounding Skye’s true identity in the Winter Finale, we knew we’d be introducing more Inhumans as our story progressed,” said Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “The charming energy Luke brings to the role that will make him a character to watch as we continue our season.”

No word on if Lincoln will be based on a comic book Inhuman or a brand new character.

Marvel Studios have an Inhumans movie planned for 2018. Uncanny Inhumans is a second Inhuman comic by writer Charles Soule arrives in April followed by Inhumans: Attilan Rising, a tie-in to Secret Wars.
