Warner Brothers recruits a new director for Wonder Woman.
Patty Jenkins (Monster, The Killing) has signed a deal to helm the solo female superhero film according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jenkins was at one point up to direct Thor 2 for DC rival Marvel Studios. Today’s announcement comes after the studio and Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones) announced creative differences and she exited the project.
Gal Gadot will reprise the role following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.
The film is scheduled for 2017.
