Brian Michael Bendis put Dazzler through hell and back in Uncanny X-Men. Alison Blaire was recruited to be an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., then became a victim of Mystique.
Now she’s getting a major makeover from artist Kris Anka.
Today Bendis revealed the cover of Uncanny X-Men #24 via Tumblr with the greeting, “ladies and gentlemen, the new Dazzler.”
A more punked out Dazzler is in the forefront with the background images shows the Alison Blaire’s classic past looks.
Ali appears to be taking inspiration from Storm (who went back to her punk rock Mohawk last year) and the look may match Ali’s mood after learning what Mystique did to her over the past few months.
A harder, tougher, angrier Dazzler for the Marvel Now?
