Welcome to an incredible week of new comics on the way including the new creation of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, Torchwood returns with John Barrowman telling Captain Jack’s new adventures plus a triple shot of Harley Quinn!

Here are our new comics picks of the week:

Harley Quinn #1

Die Laughing sees the fan-favorite back on Coney Island fighting a zombie outbreak. Amanda Conner and Chad Hardin give the anti-heroine a hilarious and horrific new beginning. Harley Quinn and Her Gang of Harleys #6 hits this week too as the Gang attempts to rescue Harley from Harley Sinn and The Island of Horrible Death.

Suicide Squad: Rebirth #1 More Harley this week as DC’s deadliest “heroes” are reborn by Rob Williams and Phillip Tan. The secret origin of Rick Flagg from war hero to prisoner to task force leader of bad guys on a rocky road to redemption.

Kill or Be Killed #1 Ed Brubaker. Sean Phillips. Their new Image Comic. That’s enough for us. If you need to know more: a young man tasked with killing bad people but can he keep his secret and live with the blood on his hands. The team behind Fatale, The Fade Out, Criminal unleash a new epic of crime, vigilantism and the cost.

4001 A.D. War Mother #1

Spinning out of Valiant’s future epic comes a new hero. As New Japan jettisons sections of its orbiting oasis to Earth, War Mother emerges out of the wastelands on a mission of salvage and salvation for her lost tribe. You’ve met “Father” in Rai’s future epic and now Fred Van Lente and Tomas Giorello give you one tough Mother of 4001.

Torchwood #1

Captain Jack Harkness is back in this new in continuity comic written by the fan-favorite actor who played him, John Barrowman. Can Jack reunite with Gwen Cooper to rebuild Torchwood, based on the hit Doctor Who spinoff.

And Civil War II watch! Everyone is wondering what will happen to Tony Stark after this superhero showdown so here are two big books to watch:
