This could be an incredible double role for the Firefly/Serenity and Homeland veteran and could lead to more X-Men spinoffs.
Vanessa is most likely Vanessa Carlyle aka Copycat.
In the comics Vanessa is a shapeshifter with the added ability to mimic powers who impersonated Domino in X-Force. Vanessa and Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) were both part of the Weapon X program that turned James Howlett aka Logan into Wolverine.
If Baccarin is playing Copycat as Domino then she could be poised to reprise Domino (Neena Thurman) in a X-Force spinoff which is planned by Fox. Domino appeared in two versions of the team, one lead by Cable and later one led by Wolverine.
Deadpool is scheduled to hit cinemas February 12, 2016.
