Emerald City Comicon recruits two stars from the Whedonverse. Morena Baccarin played Inara on Firefly then in the film Serenity.Baccarin went on to roles on V, Stargate S.G. One and the acclaimed Emmy winning drama Homeland.
Baccarin is not just a sci-fi icon but has an incredible list of voice roles playing iconic comic book characters including Talia Al Ghul, Cheetah and Black Canary.
Inara’s story (and the rest of the cast of the beloved cult television and series) continued in Serenity: Leaves on the Wind from Dark Horse Comics.
Baccarin are fellow Whedonverse star, Charisma Carpenter from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel as the first celebrity guests for the 2015 event.
Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie (Young Avengers, The Wicked and Divine) are the first comic book creator guests announced.
Tickets go on sale September 1st. The big event is March 27-29 in Seattle.
