What happens to an actor’s career after they play an iconic superhero?
Michael Keaton (Batman, Batman Returns) plays an actor who played a costumed superhero in Birdman.
As the actor is mounting a comeback on Broadway he appears to have flashbacks to his role as the movie superhero. The surreal comic book movie world appears to be colliding with the real as Keaton’s character tries to keep his identity and sanity.
