ABC is standing with S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel.com revealed that ABC is renewing Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a second season and will launch a new Marvel’s Agent Carter series next season.
The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale is this Tuesday on ABC.
Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Atwell starred in an Agent Carter one-shot that continued Peggy’s story and career in the early days of S.H.I.E.L.D. following World War II.
The official ABC Fall Up Front Presentations are next Tuesday where we’ll have new information and likely clips of the new series.
Marvel is also developing four series with Netflix starring Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Jessica Jones which will lead to a Defenders limited series.
