ABC revealed new details for Marvel’s Agent Carter. Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as Peggy Carter from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The series will reveal the origins of the Marvel Universe and S.H.I.E.L.D. The sizzle reel included footage from the Agent Carter one-shot showing Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark (father of Tony aka Iron Man)
Maybe this was just my imagination but did I hear “ZODIAC?”
in the sizzle reel? Zodiac is a criminal organization born in the pages of The Avengers all taking code-names from the astrological calendar. Scorpio is the most infamous with family ties to the original Nick Fury.
Here’s the official description:
“It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life–Steve Rogers.”
Marvel’s Agent Carter follows Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Tuesdays at 9am on ABC.
