The latest Marvel teaser is GLOBAL by Jonathan Hickman, Nick Spencer and Stefano Caselli.
Could this be a NEW Avengers series?
The first All-New Marvel Now announcement revealed Hickman’s next Avengers arc is called Rogue Planet so this could be a companion book tied to it.
Jonathan Hickman declared Earth was an Avengers World in his first arc.
Spencer was recruited to co-write the Avengers prelude to Infinity issues. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are currently fighting aliens in space while the Illuminati fight Thanos and incursions in the pages of New Avengers, also by Hickman.
The first thought is that Global could mean an international team of Avengers but we already have that in the current team. Second thought is that the Illuminati may be disbanded after the events of Infinity making room for a new twist on the Avengers theme. The green makes you wonder if Hickman is taking on the Hulk or a a team of Hulks?
All will be revealed at New York Comic Con.
