The Marvel Universe ends.
Now in Secret Wars event there is only Battleworld, with heroes and villains from across multiple Marvel universes fighting in Warzones. It’s a bizarre new reality with strange alliances and the stage is set for some insane fights.
This week Secret Wars: Battleworld, a tie-in limited series begins with outrageous match-ups where the impossible (even for comics) becomes possible.
Here’s an idea of the multiversal matchups you can expect:
“You want to see the 1602 version of Punisher fight the 2099 version of Iron Man? Muskets versus the 1990’s version of the future! We can even have the same characters from different worlds fight. I’m sure readers have been dreaming of seeing a dozen different versions of Howard the Duck fight. Well, guess what? It’s completely possible in this series!” Editor Jon Moisan told Marvel.com.
The editor recruited new talent with this unique opportunity for them to plot and draw these outrageous showdowns.
Moisan said to watch for every M.O.D.O.K. ever in the first issue arriving Wednesday.
