Avengers and X-Men battle the Red Onslaught (the Red Skull armed with the powers of Professor X) in the event series AXIS by Rick Remender.
But this series will not be big enough to show the impact of the war against the Red Skull.
Marvel revealed AXIS: Revolutions, a four-part series by various creators showing more of the action. The first issue will be from writer Dennis Hopeless (Avengers Undercover) and artist Ken Lashley.
Much like AvX: Versus showed more of the Avenger vs. X-Man one-on-one battles spilling out of Avengers vs. X-Men, Revolutions will show how more of Marvel heroes are fighting the war against Red Skull as he spreads hate across the planet.
As you can see from the cover there’s a mystery hero apparently carrying a shield. This is most likely the new Captain America Marvel teased last week.
