Is Marvel taking us back to the Future Imperfect?

After revealing a brand new Secret Wars event for 2015 by Jonathan Hickman, Marvel is unleashing teaser after teaser for more possible stories based on classic events and storylines coming next year.

The latest is Future Imperfect starring the Maestro front and center over his trophies – the remains of the heroes he defeated.

The teaser by Hulk artist Dale Keown was revealed by Marvel via Comics Alliance.

The Maestro was a stronger, ruthless and crazier version of the Green Goliath from an alternate future. Future Imperfect was a two volume epic by Incredible Hulk writer Peter David and legendary artist George Perez.

In a future devastated by nuclear war, Maestro rules the wasteland until rebels bring Hulk (with Bruce Banner’s brain in control of the beastly body) into the future to defeat the tyrant.
